What counts as a source

Only the organizer's own website, verified social account or official email. Reposts, forwarded images and screenshots are treated as leads, never as sources. When an official site cannot be read, we say which other public listing we used and ask you to confirm on the official site.

What we check

  • Who runs it, and that the organizer is real
  • Who can apply, including age and country rules
  • Dates and deadlines, and the time zone
  • Format and location
  • Cost to students and any benefits
  • The real application link

Check dates and statuses

Every dated listing shows the day we last checked it. Statuses change to Closing soon seven days before a deadline and to Closed after it, automatically. We recheck open listings every week. General listings for always-open platforms are marked as such.

What we reject

Anything that asks students to pay to reserve a place, has no verifiable organizer, asks for sensitive personal or financial details at the application stage, or promises guaranteed results.

Corrections

Use the Report a problem form on any listing, or email info@swabud.tech. We check reports the same day where we can, fix the listing, and add a dated note describing the correction.

Independence and sponsorship

Listings are free and chosen on merit. If SWABUD ever accepts payment to feature a listing, it will be clearly labelled Sponsored and still go through the same checks. Paid placement never changes a status or a fact.
